Triangle Treat Box - Homemade

Once again, this item is great as a party favor for a birthday, bridal shower, baby shower or for a holiday gathering. Very easy and quick to make and a wonderful project for the kids to assist with decorating. It took me about 5 minutes to put this together.

Take a 8 1/2" x 11" piece of card stock and on the 8 1/2" side score or fold at 3 1/2", 7" and 10 1/2". Turn to the 11" side and score at 3". Cut as shown below up to the score line and cut off the small end piece. Fold and glue the box together on the side.

Fold 2 of the flaps back and up and hold and take a pencil and trace the triangle onto the piece of card stock. Do this with all 3 sides. See below for example.

Cut along the triangle and cut on the inside of the triangle. Glue the flaps down.

Decorate and then put your treats in a bag and you are done. If you would like to have a top border, the paper size is 1" x 11". The font that I used is from the following website ~ freefontfun.com. You will find many cool fonts and it is very easy to download.

The elephant is from Bigfoot & Pickle Face clear rubber stamp set and I designed a hat for him to dress him up for a party. Go to our storefront if you would like to purchase the stamp set; don't forget to buy a child safe/washable ink stamp pad. Have fun and have a great weekend creating kids crafts!
